Union University ABSN Spring 2015

U.S.A. Tennessee

Anyone out there apply for the Spring 2015 ABSN program at Hendersonville? I just finished applying by the august 1st second priority deadline and thought I read somewhere that we wouldn't find out our acceptance until closer to December. Anyone have an idea if this is right? Seems it might be from previous threads that it takes about 3-4 months to get the acceptance email. I'm from Illinois so trying to find a place to live and roommate will be difficult in a month's time if accepted in December.

Thanks!! :)

Thanks! I submitted my application July 31st. I had read on last years page that they heard about this time so I was thinking it might be anytime. There were days or even weeks between when people heard though. Some had applied earlier and heard later there did not seem to be a pattern.

Of course! I hope everything works out for ya! And congrats Chyrl!!! That's so awesome for you!!! I applied about the same time so we will have to see what my fate is!! Fingers crossed!!! :)

Thanks Katie and Mariayna. I am really excited  Im sure you will hear something anytime now…. fingers crossed for you guys!!!

Thank you!! :)

That's very reassuring!! I would love to get all of my ducks in a row, so I hope it is sooner than later for sure :) Will you be moving @layintracks?

@marmar13 … Yes I will be moving. I lived in Nashville and my dad got sick… he died this spring, so I have been here helping my mom get organized and helping care for him. I was planning to move back there anyhow. I love Nashville. Where are you in CA?

@layintracks ... wow I am really sorry to hear that.

I am from/live in San Diego!

@marmar13… Thanks. I lived in San Diego as a child and was just out there a few weeks ago. :)

Oh cool! Ya it's a wonderful place, but I think Tennessee could be cool for a little while!?

@kpetry03 I looked at the classes we would take at Union and I've taken Microbio. and Stats already...did you talk to someone about being able to transfer classes?

@layintracks Would you mind posting your stats? I couldn't really find any info. on previously admitted students to Union, so I have no idea if I am even in the running!

@marmar13 I think you will like Tennessee. Im not for sure because I don't know how they calculate it. I think my overall is about a 3.35… my last 65 hours was between a 3.5 and a 3.6 maybe?? My sciences were mostly A's… maybe a 3.8ish? I don't know for sure though. Early on I spoke to someone about transfer of courses. She said that its on an one by one basis for the previously taken courses… if they meet their criteria then you don't have to retake them. Thats awesome because I have maybe four of them. I have seen some stats posted on here for previous students. Their were some better than mine and some not as good. I don't think mine are all that great. I applied at Vanderbilt and didn't feel very confident about it. It seemed like most people applying there have like a 3.7 or better cumulative GPA.
