Hi everyone! I recently applied to all three campuses of Union University for the ABSN program beginning in fall of 2017. I would love to hear from some other people that have applied; I'm very excited and hope we hear some information soon!
I applied and was told all campuses are filled up.I applied in March. All my prerequisites are completed and I had As in all,I met the GPA requirement ,But some of my white friends who applied just last week have been admitted immediately,I'm trying to see the percentage of African American in the program though.I may be wrong .Are there any African American applying in this forum?
Chief1913 I work full-time too. Good to know about CPR! I haven't paid my deposit so didn't get that memo. Have you taken other pre-reqs? I'm planning on taking Micro and Stats during summer.
tolufaj I know waiting sucks. I waited a month not knowing what was happening. I don't think Union is a racist school. All professors/staff I've met at Germantown campus were friendly and polite. I'm not white but I was accepted. When I went to their "ABSN Preview Day" back in October, there were African American students. I hope you hear good news soon :)

I've been conditionally accepted. My BA and MA aren't science related so I'm still taking A&P2. I highly suggest you contact them if you don't hear anything in a week or two. After I received the "Application Received" email from Union, I waited about a month before I called. Turns out, there was a glitch in the system and my application only showed last 28 credits. The lady on the phone told me she'll look into it and that I should hear something from them very soon. I got an acceptance email from Shannon the next day.
