Anyone out there applying to any of Union's 3 campuses for the accelerated BSN program?

Just sent in my application on November 14! The waiting game is so painful!!! :dead:

I applied Dec. 1st and I'm still waiting to hear back. I got some letter in the mail verifying that all of my prereq classes are approved to be transferred. I applied to the Jackson and Germantown campus. I did not get accepted last year but that was because I had a little less than a 3.0 but this year I'm applying with a little over 3.1. I hope my low GPA doesn't hurt my chances! Cross your fingers for me!!

Anybody applying to Germantown campus heard anything? I applied mid january bc I had to wait for grades to be posted for a transcript. I'm not sure if I have a shot since I applied late, but all this waiting is killing my nerves!! Every time I open my email or mailbox I have a mini heart attack!!

Did they extend their deadlines at some point? I applied on the deadline of Feb 1. I see earlier posts about applying back in Dec/Jan so I am curious.

Got my acceptance email for the Jackson campus last week!!

Super pumped!!! :D

Thank you! :)

Does anyone know anything about the Jackson area? I'm from California and I have no idea where to start looking for places to live. I want to live close to campus and preferably with another nursing student.

Someone told me that you have to be 24 years old to apply to their ABSN program. Does anyone know if this is true? I'll be 23 this year.

Jackson is nice town, but there are still parts that you wouldn't want to live in. I've heard that the Cherry Grove apartments and the Post House apartments are nice. My best friend works with people who live in both of those complexes & they really like them.

I think you only have be 24 if the accelerated BSN will be your first degree. If you already have a bachelor's then that doesn't apply. I already have a B.S. & I'm 23 & got into the program.

Union also has a facebook page for off campus housing opportunities.

I got my acceptance email yesterday! I applied at the end of January just before the Feb 1 deadline! I'm so excited!

I will be at the Jackson campus.

Congrats on y'alls acceptance!! I'm so glad that I came across this thread! Has anyone received their acceptance email from the Germantown campus??
