Hello there,
I am curious as to what the daily nurse uniform would be for a 66H at a medical facility CONUS, (stateside). In the cd/dvd that I have they are wearing both fatigues and also scrubs.
Thank you,
Gen

CONUS; In the ICU we where scrubs. I believe on the Med/Surg floors it is ACUs.
Hi Corvette Guy,
Thank you for answering. If you don't mind I need to be told what ACUs are.
Hey, I turned in my application packet today and all that is needed now are my referral forms to come in.
I am so enthused but anxious. :)

Hello Gennaver:
Hey, good for you (regarding turning in your application packet) I remember how anxious I was waiting to hear the final "yea" or"nay"
Army Combat Uniform = ACU
Battle Dress Uniform = BDU
Phasing out the BDUs, have been selling the ACUs for a while now
Bye for now,

Hi Athena,
Ah, I should've known. As a new grad I am figuring I will be medical surgical, so it looks like ACU.
I am pretty excited about all this. This week was a big day for potential life changing paperwork, (finalizing divorce, going for Active Duty Army!)
Hoping,
LOL, I guess the pics I provided were too ugly to comment on. :chuckle

Speaking for myself, for some reason your posts seem to show up in the middle of other posts. I can check a post and there won't be a comment from you. Awhile later, if I check again, there will be a post from you BEFORE the last post I read earlier. Maybe that's why they didn't comment

Thanks as always Corvette Guy! Glad you check here and reply back so fast.
Again, congratulations on completing your certificate, from which the ceremony is where that picture was taken of the ACU. :)
Gen-waiting, waiting, waiting...
edited to add: oops, I see today that no one commented on the pics, I didn't look at them until just this morning! Don't know why? Time to go though, school is back and yesterday was 12 hours between clinical and class and today is 12 hours critical care clinical. Wish me luck, wait, not just me, all of us. :)

GOOD LUCK... to all!
Hey CG:
Silly Goose, I just happened to submit my reply before you hit your button!
When I first saw your pics posted I almost didn't recognize you without your 'Vette
Stay Safe, Sir

My goodness, talk about "life changing". Seems you are kind of starting over: Becoming divorced, changing careers mid-cycle - and stream! Going AC (Active Component) or Active Duty.
You have heard of the expression, "Keep you Eyes on the Prize"
Do let us know when you get the final word (regarding your packet)
Ugh, 12 hour clinicals...and still attending classes. Yikes! Smile,
Have a good rest of your week.
