Hi everyone!
With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?
Vee, you should TOTALLY be proud of yourself!! I'm proud just hearing you're a first generation college student! That is so awesome! I hope you get in. And I think your TEAS more than covers your GPA. And the GPA is an average; some are below some are higher! I'm hoping my GPA will carry my TEAS a little and that my interview carries my TEAS a lot! My nerves really got me on that test. I hate being timed and it weighing so much in the process. But yeah, I hope we all make it! I like you guys. ha ha. The good news is I think all of the stats stated so far are within the "competitive" range that Beth talked about. So we all have a good chance. Whew!
Your stats sound great, veerose! And great job getting your aa! I'm a first gen college student too, hopefully we both (& everyone else!!) get in & do our families proud :)
Mr po po- I haven't gotten anything yet either so no worries. She said by Friday or next week.
Helloonursh- look at you go with your interview prep!! That's awesome. Have you just found info on here about what to expect?
Lexipark, I've made a big list of possible questions that could be asked. But I think all of it centralizes around why you want to be a nurse, your ethics, why unf, and knowing yourself in general. I do know how I feel about becoming a nurse but I hope I can articulate in a good way! By the way, awesome TEAS scores!!
Hi everyone! I am new to the forum, but have been secretly stalking lol. I applied for the summer 2014 also and am beyond nervous! I chose to go back to school to pursue nursing after I finished my enlistment in the military and I forgot how nerve racking the whole experience is. I feel so intimidated by the pre req gpa and the teas scores, hopefully mine were good enough but all I can do is pray now lol :) Good luck to you all, based on what I have read you guys are definitely going to be getting an interview!

I'm using info I found on here, things she said in the information session and there's a cool site that has a list of nursing school interview questions and what they're really trying to ask you. I'll see if I can find it and post it for you guys!
