UNF Summer 2014 BSN hopefuls

Hi everyone!

With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?

Still no update but I just got home and my letter was in the mail!!!! I got in!! This is not real right now, I'm so happy/excited/over the moon!!! So stoked to meet you all!

Hep, are you still considering FSU or is UNF where it's going to be?! I'm not holding out for UNF since the chances of going from wait list to ABSN are slim. Fingers crossed for the other schools!

I'm sorry Sarah~ uh man, I'm gettting sooo nervous.... I guess tomorrow?? You all don't think she's still updating do you?? I mean she probably goes home at 5 o'clock.

I got accepted!! Got my letter today for regular track which was what I applied for! I'm so excited! Mywings hasn't updated yet though. I think she will finish tomorrow with that?

I got denied. Flat out. Ouch.

My mywings still hasn't updated, I found out through the letter.

I don't understand. Can those who got in post what their TEAS and GPA are? I'm trying to figure out how I could have done better and I am drawing blanks. My TEAS was 376, GPA was 3.86, and I thought I did pretty well on the interview.

cait88, what time/group were you in?! I got in and had a 3.78 gpa and 357.5 TEAS. That's insane that you didn't get in! I'm sorry :( It's tough to really know what they're looking for in the interview

My gpa was 3.85 and TEAS was only 315. They're really looking for students that are passionate about nursing and passionate about UNF. I went to the mock interview (available to UNF students only) and it helped me a lot. Don't give up, this was my second time applying!

Wow Sarah! I am shocked you didn't get in. You had great answers and you have wonderful experience! Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. Who knows if I will be applying for Fall. Will wait and see what happens in the next couple weeks for my other schools. And congrats to those are finding out if you are accepted!

I found out by mail btw. I live in Gainesville so my letter didn't travel far

Hi hepx3, I was in the 10:30 time slot, group 4 I think? I could be wrong. I thought I did really well in the interview too... UGH.
