UNF Summer 2014 BSN hopefuls

Hi everyone!

With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?

I actually just saw this page yesterday! After I got the email for the interviews I looked up this years hopeful cohort. I'm very nervous but excited to be one step further in this process since I won't hear anything from the other schools I have applied for until prolly later march.

Congrats to everyone who got an interview! I am in the accelerated program right now and I remember exactly what it felt like to be in your shoes last year! I'm going to be helping with the interviews this year... I look forward to meeting y'all!

I have applied to UCF, FSU, USF and UWF. Honestly, FSU and UNF are tied for first! And UWF is my last bc theirs is a regular BSN track. But getting into any of these schools will be just fine with me bc I know everything is just so competitive. Has anyone else applied to these schools?

I've also applied to UCF and am considering UM as well, so like you won't know until end of March... can't wait!!

So exciting! Wish I were as mobile as you gals. I'm tied to Jacksonville cause my toddler, mortgage and husband are here. Good for you getting it done young :)

Ugh, I hear ya. I have a husband and mortgage here in Orlando but it just comes down to whoever accepts me... definitely will make things Much Much harder to leave though so we just have to hope it all works out.

It's going to work out! You're bright as your stats say and very sweet and determined as I've noticed personally. They'd be crazy not to accept you!

I think my hubby would be up for the move and my son is so little that he wouldn't know the difference, but in order for me to pull this off with a little one I'm going to need the support of my family and they're all here in Jacksonville. If I could convince them to come with I'd give it a go! haha :)

I have to move where ever I get accepted too. Luckily I'm not tied down anywhere, yet lol. I haven't applied to other schools yet because UNF is my first choice and other schools don't start in summer as far as I know. So if I don't get accepted after the interview I will be applying all over as well, FSU UF UCF USF etc, but I'd rather wait and save the application fees if I can help it! Can't wait to meet all of you! :)

However a lot of programs application deadlines are ending soon (bsn for fall). By the time you get a notice in from UNF many programs application windows for the other schools will be closed.

amm88, I am also applying to fsu! I live in tallahassee right now, but my family lives in jacksonville. So I'm hoping for either but unf is definitely my first choice!
