UNF Summer 2014 BSN hopefuls

Hi everyone!

With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?

Hahaha, I am right there with you! Its getting so close I can hardly stand it! I have to work a double today so hopefully that will take my mind off of checking my emails hahaha But yeah we'll figure it out

I seriously need something to occupy my time. The suspense is killing me. I've been staring at stats for the past 2 days and the stuff I'm seeing is so inconclusive that I don't know what to make of it other than the interview is very very very important. I'm seeing people with crazy awesome stats getting denied, not even waitlisted. And folks with average stats getting admitted without waitlist. That interview is super important!

Yep that is what im getting too, lucky I still have my job for now lol (to occupy me) but yeah I need practice lol

I have a mock interview on Friday so I'm hoping they can give me some good feedback and let me know what they think about my outfit haha.

Hey all! I'm freaking out about hearing next week too... I really hope I get an interview. I think my stats are pretty competitive (3.87 GPA, 365 TEAS) but for some reason I'm really nervous. Probably because UNF is my top/only choice for nursing school. I'm applying for the Accelerated program. I totally agree with coffee/meetup before the interviews! Help lower our stress levels. It seems like in the past the competitive cutoff for interview has been around ~700 total points, so I think the group of people posting here seems to be really competitive for the interview! Lots of deep breaths and obsessive email-checking until next week... lol

Welcome, Sarah! And thanks for coming in and completely making us all squirm with your amazing stats! Ha ha. But I agree, nerves are totally warranted because it doesn't seem anyone is truly safe! But hopefully all of us will be!!

Welcome Sarah, and yeah your stats are aweesomee. and Hep- Lucky about getting your outfit checked out before-hand.. I'm still nervous about my white pant suit.. but it's the only one I have so it's all I got, lol. Hope it won't affect my score in a negative way. Is it just me or are these days going by slower than universally possible???!?

Vee, I think that's a good move! Suits are professional, and white will make you stand out to them! And yes I am dying to hear something... now I can't wait till the third, I want to know now!! Haha

And yes welcome Sarah, way to completely blow our stats out of the water!

Oh my goshhhh same here!! I keep panicking and checking my email like crazy and then thinking, wait.. what if I just didn't get one bc I didn't get an interview?!?! Ahhh the suspense lol. I wonder if it will be next Tuesday or sooner... aaand I wonder if denials or invites are sent out first or at the same time???

I know!! It looks like last year the emails went out on the 30th and by the first she had stats up. I think we'll get one. I just want to see that email already!!

Eeek I hope they come tomorrow and that we all get one!! At least someeeee of the waiting will end soon... then it's just countdown til interviews amd from what I've seen I think they make those decisions pretty quickly.
