UNF Fall 2011 RPL Applicants

Published

Hello Everyone!

I am applying for UNF for Fall 2011 admission. Anyone else also applying for the Fall 2011 semester? Good luck to you all in your pursuits!

Kali

Pointers:

Shave

Get a haircut

Shine your shoes

Makes sure your suit is clean (i brought a lint roller in my car)

Don't go overboard with the jewelry

Wear little, if any, cologne (can give people headaches)

Cover all tattoos if possible

Take out any facial piercings

In case you are wondering what color suit to wear, the majority of males wore a sold colored suit of either navy blue, or some variation of grey. I wore a charcoal grey suit myself (almost black looking, but no quite). There seemed to be lots of blue ties there, which is what i wore. As for shirts, there were lots of whites, off-whites, and variations of blue. I wore a light blue shirt (cost me an arm and a leg at $90). So, overall, i wore a suit that looked...light black...with a light blue shirt and a tie with a light blue scheme. It sounds like a lot of blue but it went together very well...someone else actually wore almost the identical shirt/tie combo too. lol.

So yeah, that's about it. Just dess to impress, be friendly and agreeable, and try not to be the first persone to answer all the questions all the time, and NEVER be the last person all the time.

P.s It'll probably be motivating to know that a majority of the people that post here are usually the ones that get accepted. NOT EVERYONE, but quite a few.

Hi all :) Is anyone interviewing at the 9:30 time? I've seen quite a few 10:30's. I'd like to know somebody at the same interview time :)

Mine is at 10:30 like I wrote earlier, but I met 3 people today from UNF that have an interview at 9:30, so they do exist!

Lol thanks scarlett :) I was beginning to wonder lol

Thank you all for all the tips for the interviews so far. Are there any other suggestions as far as preparation for the questions goes? Any extra help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have been following this thread for a while, but haven't posted yet! I'll be in the 8:30 interview!!!

I hope everyones interviews went well. They really do make the process smooth and as painless as possible. Also, it was really nice putting a face with a name for those of you from here.

I agree! The interview went really well and the professors that I interviewed with made my group feel really comfortable. I felt really good about the whole process, and I now feel that even if I don't get in, I will at least understand the process better for next time, and I can say that I interviewed with a lot of great applicants!

Now, it's time to wait for the letter! ;)
