I have my BSN and i've worked in a hospital as a nursing assistant for over a year now. I also have ACLS certification as well. I tried to do everything I could to increase my chances of getting a job quickly after I graduated! Lol. Anyways, I talked to HR today. They asked me a bunch of questions, basically verifying what I put on my application. The last question she asked was how I would carry forth the principles of working at a faith-based hospital. When you get to that point, be prepared for the curveball.

I applied to the GN program for Florida Hospital in Orlando (and the Children's Hospital) last week. A few days after submitting my app, I received an email asking me to fill out questionnaire. I did so, and the next day I received an email asking me to put in four references. I also got a call from HR. It was a Friday, so I have not been able to communicate with them since. I plan to call them tomorrow (Monday) to follow up. On the website, under "My Submissions" of "My Jobpage", I don't see an application status area. I see a "Submission Status", which is complete, as I entered in all of my reference information today. Also, the number for HR which they asked me to call back is (407) 200-2303. You may be able to find out more information regarding your application. Hopefully this helps in some way! Good luck!!

To all of you who now see "admit" as your application status, did the status date underneath that change as well?

I'm applying to the Fall 2011 RPL program at UNF, but I have a question concerning the criteria (pre-interview). Do they look at your cumulative GPA or your Pre-req GPA (in addition to your TEAS score) when they decide to give you an interview? I have a 357 total for my TEAS and I'm curious as to which GPA is going to be paired with that. Any additional information on the criteria would be helpful! Thanks!! ~Dixie
