Lexicon: cool did you go to UWF? That's where I just graduated from.

ScarlettRose: Were you a "pre-nursing" major?

I went to Pensacola state college ( I keep wanting to call it PJC lol) I started there after highschool with the intent of being an architecture major and went to UF to persuit it... I ended up finding out though architecture just wasn't my thing so I switched to nursing and came back home to do pre reqs :) what did you major in at UWF?

Oh okay. I went to PJC and then my major at UWF was Pro-Professional Biology. I want to go to grad school eventually but unfortunately don't have the healthcare experience to do so, which is why I now want to get a nursing degree. I have learned now that there is not much you can do with a B.S in Biology! : ( I really hope I get into UNF's program!

Yes, I was a pre-nursing major. I've wanted to be a nurse since high school.

My friend is doing pre prof. Biology at UWF right now she too is trying to figure what to do.. She wanted to go to PA school after but I think switched her mind to pharmacy. You guys had some pretty rough classes to take. Ive heard her talk about them :p I'm sure you'll get in :) good luck at the interview :)

well thanks Lexicon for the vote of confidence. lol but I'm still a little bit nervous. A lot of the points for selection are based on the interview. I've never done a group interview before. NOt sure if that makes it better or more intimidating. guess we'll see : )

Hey all. Congrats to everyone who got interviews. Has anyone heard anything about dress code for the interviews will be. I am trying to decide if a jacket will be necessary or just a shirt and tie would be appropriate.

I would recommend a full suit. Out of all the guys that i saw at my interview slot they were all wearing suits, me included. I only saw one guy wearing just a shirt and tie...and i haven't seen him since. lol. But seriously, you will walk into the waiting room and get the feeling your are interviewing at business school...that's how dressed up everyone will be.

I also got to see some of the guys from the earlier time slots when they were leaving their interview. There were a couple of people who were dressed really edgy. Their hair was spiked up, and their clothes were very non-traditional. It was like they were interviewing for a spot on some trendy youth fashion magazine. Wouldn't recommend that. Also, there was a guy who was wearing this 1970's type suit that had the patches on the elbows. It kind of looked like cordorouy (Sp?) or something. Plus, he hadn't shaved and looked really scruffy. Wouldn't recommend that either.

Thanks HM2, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I had planned on wearing a suit but wanted to make sure I wasn't overdoing it. Any other pointers for the interview?
