UNF Fall 2013 BSN

Published

Anybody else out there applying for UNF for the fall?? Less than a month left to get all of the paperwork in order. I'm so afraid of missing something!! I think all I have left to do is submit my summer schedule and my spring expected grade papers from the classes I'm taking now. Pre-reqs (nearly) done, TEAS taken, supplemental app submitted.....

Hadn't seen a post yet for the fall, so I figured I'd start and see if anybody out there was sitting on their hands, waiting for May!!

Waitlisted! But I already decided to attend USF's program shortly after the UNF interview. So if I get a call sometime, that's another open seat for someone! I wish the best of luck to all of you and congratulations to those of you who were accepted! I know how wonderful that feeling is :)

Does anyone know if it's harder to get for the summer or fall cohort? Or is it the same?

I've heard the summer is harder because you have both regular and accelerated program candidates competing. But someone else might know more about it than I do!

I also was told it's harder to get in by several people for the summer cohort.

Thanks for sharing. As someone who didn't get in for the fall cohort, can anyone share advice with me regarding the interview? My TEAS an GPA were the same for the average of those that were accepted. I felt like my interview went alright. I felt like the youngest person there, and I have no experience in the health care world.I also felt like my answers were good but maybe too reheorificed sounding. I also think I came across as a bit quiet or shy in my group setting. Can anyone give advice for what I should do next time? I really want to go to UNF and am bummed I have to wait another year to apply. Next time i plan to apply to JU also. Thanks so much!

Hi strial.... sorry about the fall program. I also applied and didn't get accepted and my scores were also above the average for the accepted and waitlisted. The only advice I would have is to keep on trying and apply for th spring program. For the interview, try not to sound reheorificed. I think next time I am going to go in and just be myself. I was probably the oldest in my interview group. Sorry I couldn't help more...

Hi strial14, I got into UNF for the fall but I didn't not prepare for my interview at all. I think that most people might think I'm crazy for that but I feel like the interview should just be like you are having a casual conversation with a friend. I knew that if I prepared for the interview I would be myself. I think it's easy to be yourself when your answer just flows and is coming from you rather than what you prepared ahead of time. I hope this helps and good luck to you!

Anyone pulled off the wait list yet?

I got in!!! They said it was the first cancellation! Ahhhh!!! So excited!!!!

Well that's lucky. It was my third time applying and I got wait listed and still no call. Congrats dimov and everyone else that got this amazing opportunity!
