UNF Accelerated BSN Summer 2013

The deadline to apply for UNF's Accelerated BSN program beginning Spring 2013 will be here before we know it (January 15, 2013), which is why I wanted to go ahead and start this topic now. Many of us are taking the TEAS V soon (if we have not already) and finishing up prerequisites (if needed), so I am sure we all have some questions or information to share with each other.

Ugh sorry for all the !!! Apparently I need to lay off the coffee lol

Has everyone got their letters already? Do they come regular mail or FedEx? I still have not received mine. Just going off my status on MyWings.

I was wait-listed. I felt my interview went well, so I was a little surprised. I am still hopeful because they did say that during the summer that majority of those on the wait-list get accepted. I was curious if anyone know when those accepted have to let UNF know if they plan to attend because I am trying to figure out about when I would be hearing if I got bumped up. I am also wait-listed for UF and I know that those accepted have to let the school know by March 18. So I am playing a waiting game with both schools and trying to figure out whether or not to sublease my apartment in Gainesville.

I just got my letter and it says we have to let UNF know if we are attending by 8am on Friday, March 22nd. I hope you get good news from UF and UNF soon!

I got my letter today as well! Waitlisted, but still extremely enthusiastic about them letting me know if I get bumped up also! I just want to say... I AM VERY PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can't wait to meet everyone May 2nd. I also would like to say that even though I am on the waitlist, I am going to go ahead and get all of the requirements met ahead of time, that way, when they call me, it will be ready! Does anyone have and oppositions to that? Thank you!

Way to go, westcm3! You've got a great outlook on it all... be ready for that phone call! I have a good feeling for those on the waitlist... I think a lot of you will be called since there are plenty of people having to choose between two or so schools. I hope that opens up some spots in your favor. Keep being optimistic!! :)

Hello everyone! Congrats to those of you that have been accepted... and good luck to those that have been waitlisted....(many of you may be called, so be ready). I am currently in the UNF nursing program. I can not say enough about how wonderful it is! Our professors are all there to help you be the best you can be! It may not be easy (trust me it's not) but it is completely worth it! I will hopefully see all of you soon!

Hi jct2488, i also got into JU's accelerated program and am sitting here debating on flipping a coin or not! Both great programs!

Sarabeeh, have you made a decision yet? I have decided to take my seat at UNF! Although I was extremely interested in JU, I could not justify the higher cost of the program. Let me know what you decide!! Is anyone needing to find roommates? I"ll start looking into living situations from here!
