UNF ABSN/BSN FALL 2021

Hey guys, I haven’t seen a thread for UNF BSN and ABSN for the fall yet! I did apply for Summer but unfortunately did not get in so I’m applying for fall now! It’s always nice to talk to other people applying for the same program! I have a 3.6 overall and prereq GPA, and I scored a 339 (84.75) the first time I took the TEAS but will be retaking it for the fall application. My scores aren’t too great so hoping to do better on the TEAS and the interview this time around ?

Thank you! And of course I would have been anxious thinking spots were opening up too! You should hear back soon tho! They said they have been moving around a bunch of people! I think people from the waitlist will probably start getting called up tomorrow

Is anybody else still in shock/awe that we are starting nursing school in TWO months??? Like ahh how are you guys preparing?

I might look over A and P very briefly? But honestly I’m just taking a break and doing fun things before everything gets super busy ??

Yeah I feel that! I’m def not looking over any school beforehand ? I meant more like are you guys buying anything you might think will be useful for nursing school (not anything that is mandatory to buy through UNF) more things like an insulated lunch bag for clinicals and stuff like that ?? im gonna be watching so many videos on Youtube now

I’m still in so much shock! honestly I’m a little sad I have to stop working at the medical office I’ve been running for the past year! I love my patients?? my last day is July 30th. but I’m ready to start this new journey! from there I’m going to try to relax before we get moving! I def need to get prepared for clinicals/ getting back into school. I took the last year off because covid, I’m not an online learner

Hi! So excited to get ready for the upcoming semester. Did anyone see the FB link in the welcome email that was sent out? Or just in general?

Just to make sure I didn’t miss it if it was there ?

I’m soo excited too! Seeing everything we have to do to prepare like all the deadlines to pay stuff and submit stuff is driving me crazy I wanna complete ALL of it now? I did not see a facebook link ? I thought the cohorts make their own?

LOL should we make one then? ? I’m so excited to meet people! My friend in an RPL program at UNF mentioned that it was sent to us though, because IDK how we would get it to everyone in the cohort?
