Understanding TEAS V Results, help please?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi guys,

I need help understanding where I stand from my results. I unfortunately didn't score too high and am feeling a little worried. My scores are as follows:

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 68.7%

ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Proficient

Mean - National: 63.3%

Mean - Program: 64.7%

Percentile Rank - 65

National: Percentile Rank - 63

I currently have a Cum GPA of 2.5 graduating this May.

Does anyone know if my scores are even eligible to be even looked at? The school that I am applying for is Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing.

Anyone also know how many students get accepted to BHSN?

What score is acceptable for BHSN?

Do they take into consideration anything else that may give me a boost in my application?

Any help would be great, thanks!

I took a look at their website and it looks like they only need the TEAS 4.0 for pre-admission--and that's after you send in an application. They say they provide a schedule of dates to do the TEAS too. I didn't find answers to any of your other questions, but maybe you can contact the school of nursing? I've done that for all the schools I've applied to and it's much more helpful hearing it straight from them.

Here's the website with all the admission info (if you haven't seen it yet): http://www2.bridgeporthospital.org/bhsn/Admissions/procedure/default.aspx

Hope this helps, and good luck in applying!
