Hello!
Wanted to see if anyone is applying or has applied. Any tips on application process/interviews?

Me too!! I’ve practiced and practiced. There’s no way to simulate how nervous you get when you’re in-front of the panel. How was your first interview?
I’ve interviewed once before. They asked me these questions:
-what have I done to prepare myself for school
- how will I bear the financial burden
-probed me about my priorities
- ask me how I would treat post-op hypotension( don’t take questions like this at face value, ask them questions back to figure out why your patient is hypotensive ect, then answer)
- tell about a time you were under pressure
- why a DNP program
that’s all I can really remember!
I have also done a different interview and some questions I got were:
-What lead you to wanting to be a CRNA?
-Tell us about your educational background
-What do you do outside of work?
-Have you taken any graduate courses?
-Tell us about a challenging patient that you’ve had
-They asked about a patient with A-fib and hypotension and I had to calculate their cardiac output and then say what I would do. The answer was cardiovert
Hope these help someone! It is all so stressful. Best of luck to everyone.

I got an invite via email yesterday.... I agree... it’s very periodic. Interviews go all the way to the end of November so don’t give up hope yet!
