Hello! 

Wanted to see if anyone is applying or has applied. Any tips on application process/interviews? 

Specializes in CVICU.

I emailed BJ yesterday and she said that we should hear back this week and to look for letters to go out by email. She didn’t specify a specific date. She just said this week.

Hi! I received an "Alternative List Invitation" from BJ last Tuesday. The email said they officially have their class and the alternative waitlist would stay open until June 1st. Faculty will then choose who they want to fill the vacancy.

Wondering how many others received this email.

Check your emails, there was another email sent just now from Dr. Shedlick about the "Alternative List Invitation"

I still never got a response email to an interview. It’s obvious I got rejected, but still it is kind of silly for them to wait this long to notify us. I’m gonna reach out eventually, but I want to see if they will actually send me a rejection notice. I’m also still considering my application got lost in the ether.

Sorry to hear about your experience ? Does your application portal still read under review? I agree that you should contact BJ or the other faculty members about what happened with your app process.

So this doesn't really matter and I know this thread is basically dead now, but I wanted to give an update for when future applicants look at this thread for years to come:

After the school received my application back in September, I finally got a response and an official rejection on my application from the University, the first, and ONLY time I ever heard from the University about my application. I'm still pretty sure my application got lost in the ether. I knew it was gonna happen when I hadn't heard from them, yet everyone started getting interviews and acceptances mid-November. I am very aware that I could have contacted them, but at some point I wanted to see how far I could go until they finally noticed my application. Only took them five months to get back to me...

Regardless, that was probably the worst application process I have ever been apart of. As much I want to get into CRNA school, I don't know if I even want to reapply to this place next round. So yeah, hope you enjoyed the ride. I guess beware of this place? I don't know. Take it for what you will.
