Published

Does anyone have any insight on the interview @ UNCC/CMC's program? I have not found much information out there. I am looking to apply for Fall 2012- Been an RN for three years, working in CCU recovering hearts- lots of hemodynamic experience. Just got my CCRN, CSC, & CMC this year. GRE- 500 verbal, 670 quant. GPA 3.65 overall, I really want to get in- Would appreciate anyone's input on the interview!!!!

many people have stated that in the interview, "clinically based questions" are asked. would you mind providing a little more insight into the type of questions you were asked during your interview? (i.e. drugs, swan numbers, ABG interpretation)?

thanks so much in advance for the info!

I would just be familiar with your typical patient assignment. I'm a cardiac nurse so my clinical questions were related to my field, including swan monitoring, drugs, etc. I don't know that I could've "studied" for the interview. It was more a situation of 'you know it or you don't'. I was just myself and answered the best I knew for the situation they gave me. Hope that helps and good luck! Let me know if you get in :)

can someone please email me at [email protected] for details about the interview. thank you so much!

how did you like the program? how is the interview session? I am waiting to hear back from them regarding interviews currently. I have had a few interviews so far but haven't been accepted yet. Trying to do much better in the next one i have.
