Has anyone tried to call the nurse recruitment office to get an update? I would.. but my previously mentioned e-mail asking for an update went unanswered.

No, I've just tried that email that clearly doesn't like to answer us anymore haha. I couldn't even find a number on the page.

Nothing here. I called the nurse recruitment office last week to see if I could get any info and the woman who I spoke to said "we're still going through the applications and interviews are still happening. Sorry that's all I can tell you." Extremely frustrating. I feel like I'm starting to run out of options here...

It is frustrating...I really thought NC was the place for me but I've almost given up. Do you guys have a NC license?? Seems most recruiters give first priority to those that have a license in the state where the job in being offered. Which ever way, updating an applicant on their status is better because that way you can move onto something else. Good luck in your search...

I have a North Carolina license but I live in Florida. I'm trying to hold out as long as I can to see if i can get this residency before I give up and take a job in Florida. Good luck to you, Pearl83!

Hi I am new to all nurses. Im from Florida. I recently graduated with a BSN.I am applying to nurse residency first and then applying to local hospital for a job. I am applying to the UNC nurse residency for Summer 2015. I started working on my letter of introduction. Can any one share their experience with the application process ? Or if any one was accepted, any thoughts of the nurse residency program ?
