Hey guys, I wanted to start a forum for all of those who have applied to or have accepted positions for the UNC new graduate nurse residency for July-November start dates. I have accepted a position in the MICU with a start date in July. I currently live in Maine and was looking for some insight on apartments in the area. Any tips or information in appreciated.

I applied and I was just told Im under consideration and to wait for an email about interviews. Im interested in (and praying for) the ED. Chapel Hill is a very nice area to live so you really cannot go wrong when picking apartments.

I work at UNC, started as a new grad here in October moved from NY. I live at the Pointe in Chapel Hill apartments. I like it here a lot .I recommend looking out when you rent to make sure you're not picking college student apartments. Some of my friends live in Durham. Let me know if you have any questions !
