Anybody applying to this program for fall 2017? Been trying to look up information on their interview process.
Does seem quite unorganized. It's weird how things just aren't consistent.. Weren't interviews supposed to be back in February? I live on the west coast so if I even hear back from them on March 13 (supposedly) - I have to buy a plane ticket out to NC a week before.. Let's keep our heads up though - this is a such a tiring process. Best of luck to you!
And just FYI, although physics is not actually a requirement or necessary to get into this program, it does in fact have relevance in anesthesia practice as it relates to thermodynamics. I have friends who have already attended this program who have said it can be helpful to have a physics course as it pertains to the anesthetist dealing with liquids & gases under pressures at varying temps and volumes. It ties into our use of chem, pharm, & physio. However, many are smart enough and capable of getting by without it. It probably just looks good to have it under your belt, that's all.

I haven't received any email whatsoever and when I contacted the secretary for the NA program she was about as helpful as my 15 month old could have been. Never dealt with so much unorganization in a program. It doesn't speak well for the program. I'm assuming since I didn't receive any email at all that I didn't get an interview, which I am totally fine with. When you're notified that you'll receive a decision on a specific day and you don't, it doesn't speak well in terms of organization. I'm glad because it seems that this is just another negative in many other negatives I've heardabout this program. I didn't want to believe it but now that I've experienced it I understand. Good luck to those interviewing.
