UNC-Charlotte CRNA 2017

Anybody applying to this program for fall 2017? Been trying to look up information on their interview process.

I am applying for 2017. From what I hear it's a panel interview and they ask a lot of get to know you questions and they do also ask some clinical questions depending on what kind of ICU patients you care for. Plus you also get to talk to current students and ask them whatever you want to after the formal interview with faculty. I worked with a girl who is starting there this fall she seemed to be very pleased with the interview and school. Good luck!

Yeah they sent me an email recently saying they were again delaying the decision notice. The email I received said they will let everyone know on October 24th. Did they send you an email? Every time I call up there the person on the phone always seems agitated when you ask any questions...

I never applied to UNC, but a coworker did and she received an interview offer. Additionally, I also know someone else who applied and got denied a few days ago as well.

Harambe thanks for sharing, that is interesting and bizarre. The email I got said they will let everyone know on a specific date. Sounds like a lot of mixed signals! Are you sure they applied to the UNC Charlotte CRNA program?

Yup, I'm 100% sure they applied to UNC-Charlotte. I do find it odd, but hopefully you'll be hearing great news in the near future!

At least were getting the same info. I tried emailing the lady that sent the email and have had no response. I also called up there and got the same irritated person on the phone saying they are 'working on it'...

This is not related to if you guys got in but I am interested in the CRNA program at UNCC. I am confused on if you need your MSN then apply for CRNA or do you get your MSN while in the program and MSN in anesthesia? The requirements state you need an MSN before applying but I was told you get it during the program.
