I believe that the BSN program is only summer and the ABSN is only spring. I am in the BSN program in May.

Any transfer students that got in for the summer know where to get those immunization shots done free or cheaper?

There were alot of us that needed the shots for the class starting in Jan and many of my classmates went to the Department of health. I could ask on our FB page.

That would be great. I don't currently have health insurance, so I need somewhere I can actually afford to pay.

Hey everyone, I'm still expecting my letter from UNC. And I wanted to know if anyone is still having that problem. I called last week and they said the letters went out then so I'm thinking why hasn't it come in yet. Does any one have any heads up on that? :confused:

I got my acceptance letter today!!!! YAAAAAY!!! That was fast lol. I was so nervous too, what with all the budget cuts... Congrats to you others! Best wishes to those still waiting.

By the way, I talked to the SON Dean back in Feb. She said it was straight cuts in admissions for both programs. Did I misunderstand someone who said it would be "easier to get in" this way? Got a sinus infection so I'm a little woozy, sorry. lol Can't wait for orientation and to meet you folks!!!!

I think it'd only be easier to get in this time around since not as many people applied (they thought they'd be able to apply in August for January matriculation) to the May cohort.

But in future application cycles, there will be more applicants since you can only apply once a year so it'll be more difficult to get in.

Yeah, I also think it was much easier getting in this time around then it will be next year. Quick question for those who were accepted. Has your online status on myunc.edu changed? Mine still hasn't but I will be commuting to campus, so I'm wonder if that has anything to do with it. I'm anxious to get my pid so I can get those titers taken care of in the csmpus health clinic.

Oh, I picked orientation for march 28th.

Any one else pick that date ?

The 2 people I know are going to live on campus and their statuses changed. So I thought because I am going to be commuting my file was less of a priority - since I don't need housing.

Are you commuting as well?
