  1. I am in the Navy reserves as a nurse and want to pursue nursing/health informatics. I found an Additional Qualification Designator (AQD) of 68L which designates informatics. Are there any working in that capacity currently in the military or have the AQD if 68L?
  2. They are really behind due to the EPIC installation. I had my interview at UNC yesterday. From what I can tell it went great.
  3. @UCONN14 congrats on your team winning tonight!!! The HR rep contacted me by email requesting days and times I was available to talk to them as well as days and times for my interview. The HR rep emailed me back with a mutual convenient time for us talk. The conversation was very informative. About two days later I was then contacted by the scheduler with my interview date. Nothing was sent via snail mail.
  4. I had my phone interview with nurse recruitment earlier this week. It was more like an information session about salary and benefits. My interview with the nurse manager is scheduled for after April 14, which is after the EPIC install period.

  6. My status still states "open". I know Duke students have been getting calls and scheduling interviews.
  7. My status still states "under consideration" since Feb. 27.
  8. Hello all, I am having trouble prioritizing my five nursing diagnoses. Patient is one day post-op c-section with 500ml fluid loss. This is my order: 1. Acute pain r/t abdominal incision 2. Risk of fluid volume deficit r/t blood loss secondary to cesarean delivery and postpartum complication. 3. Risk of infection potential r/t abdominal incision secondary to cesarean birth. 4. Risk of GI function alteration r/t motility & decreased activity level a/e/b lack of bowel movement 5. Potential knowledge deficit of self-care needs r/t Post cesarean section delivery. I felt that acute pain took priority over fluid volume deficit due to the "risk of" part. Thanks,
  9. Congrats Florentine!!! I got my shots at my primary doctor. I had to pay a copay for only one Dr.'s visit. She ordered my shots and the rest were nurse visits at no cost.
  10. Check your access Hopeful. I am able to pay my enrollment fee and look up class schedules.
  11. I spoke to someone in nursing admissions and he said not to be concerned. If our status has not changed by our orientation date; we can ask then.
  12. I would love to read those blogs.
  13. Anyone want to share any updated information?
