They had over 1,000 applicants per the recruiter I talked to. Also, has anyone interviewed for cardio thoracic step down or pediatrics (oncology or med surg)

Correct if you applied in March and have not received a "rejection" email you are still being considered. I applied the first of march and got an email about a week ago that my application was forwarded to the hiring manager. Praying for an interview!!!

Mine is still under recruitment review. I have a classmate that got a rejection email last week. Another classmate that interviewed last week in the ED (she already works there as an NA) and she was told it would be a few more weeks before they started looking at applications again and before she would be notified about the job.

Thanks Wanderlust2205! Fingers crossed that I get an interview. Everyone in my class has either already been rejected and a few have had interviews/offers. Did you get an offer? What unit? I am in NC, close to both hospitals so it would be awesome to get on locally!

Just got notifications yesterday from Rex and Duke that my resumes were forwarded to hiring managers. How long did it take for you guys to get a call for an interview after your resumes were sent to the hiring managers?

Neuro ICU and a GI unit. Both already work on the units as Nurse Aides. Another that already works in the ED has an interview in a few weeks. Have you already had your interview? How did it go?

Thanks @ Maggot. They went live with EPIC today. Two girls in my class were offered jobs and accepted this week;) I'm still under consideration and praying I get an interview!

I would think that's just for the transport team. I have a friend interviewing next week for the PCTICU and that's just the beginning of their interview process.

That would be awesome! Once you get your offers if you would shoot me an email at [email protected] I would really appreciate it!!! Feel like I'm a pretty good candidate (2nd career, 3.6 gpa, already have have a bachelors degree from UNC in another field) but it's just a matter of getting someone to notice and look at your stuff, you know?

I have applied to both and both still just say under consideration. You must have a kick butt resume etc to be getting so many looks! That Is awesome!!!
