UMSON Spring 2024 Direct entry MSN

Hi everyone 

Has anyone applied for Spring 2024 at UMSON? Will like to know if anyone heard back from them for Spring 2024 or if anyone have a timeline of when we should hear back from them?

Yay! I will. Do we automatically get a grant in our package? The letter seemed a little "blank".

I believe we have to wait until we get our final aide package before we know LOL.

I was accepted directly into their MSN- Leadership for Fall 2023. We just had our online Zoom orientation and from what I gathered they are still finishing up admitting those students for Fall. So with that, I would imagine you will not hear anything back at least until the Fall semester starts. I applied pretty early and was notified of my acceptance in July. 

 

Goodluck and hopefully our paths cross one day at UMD!

Hello future UMSON students. Congrats to all who have received their acceptance letter for Spring 2024! Currently waiting for a response. I submitted my application back in July! I keep checking my email and the Conway scholarship email keeps getting my hopes up LOL Did anyone who applied get asked to come in for a nursing interview? I hope to meet you all in the Spring ?

They're not doing interviews anymore. Basically "blind admissions". I'm not sure the order they're going in, but I applied before priority deadline in July and heard back this past Monday. Hope you hear something soon. ?

Hopkins is more expensive right?

?Hopkins wants around 66k. UMSON NCLEX passing rate is higher than Hopkins for MSN entry level

It is more expensive but I've learned recently that the Spring cohort at UMSON is not five consecutive semesters. It's Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring 2, (skip Summer), Fall 2. That's a huge turnoff for me because I want to be done as quickly as possible. We'll see how it all goes down.
