UMSON DNP Fall 2017

Hi all,

I have applied to the UMSON DNP FNP program for the fall 2017. My application has been submitted since November 1st. My status as of right now says "committee ready." I am feeling pretty anxious about it :nailbiting: and was wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat. Feel free to chime in with anything, I'm sure we can all support each other through this!

Snowbunny, so glad to hear the interview went well! I hope you receive some good news in February! Do you have any tips for the interview? What kind of questions were you asked?

Psychnp, congrats on your invite! Same here about the nervousness, I am so nervous I think about it every day.

Um it really wasnt bad. Just know the roles of the NP and CNS and how the degree affects practice. It was really more like a get to know you kind of interview. Everyone is very friendly.

Honestly I've been doing some research here and there. I also work with an FNP so I have been following him around and asking questions.

I definitely need to go buy a nice outfit sometime soon.

I've been doing a lot of the somethings as well. Looking up a lot of sample questions. I need to buy an outfit also.

Aww congratulations ! I am interviewing this week as well for the FNP specialty. Talk about nervous and sense on impending doom :(
