I GOT IN!!!! I can't believe the wait is over and so soon! I just had my interview on Tuesday and my status changed today!!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying for you all!!

CONGRATULATIONSSS!!! Ill be seeing you in fall then!! This is super exciting !!!

I actually did not get a call. I actually checked my status constantly on Wednesday and then in the morning on Thursday, but didn't see a change. I then decided to check my status "one more time" and that's when I saw the change! I imagine they will call me and eventually send me a letter but I've been on this forum long enough to now that if your status says "Admit-Institution" then you're in! :up:

Committee ready!!! Finally haha. Excited to hopefully hear soon about interview. For those who have already interviewed, how was the proctored writing sample?

That writing sample was not easy for me and I read in past forums that people wrote a 5-paragraph essay but I have noooo idea how they were able to formulate 5 whole coherent paragraphs in 30 mins. By the time i finished my 1st paragraph I was like "5 paragraphs, no way!". So I ended up writing a good intro, an example paragraph and then I good conclusion.

I second that! I just finished my essay and felt pretty rushed. I got in two good paragraphs. I'm so excited for the interview. I'm hoping I hear news fast.

Do you think the date we sent our app in had anything to do with order of interviews?

I'm nervous because who knows how many spots are left at this point.

The submission date of the application is only relevant if you submitted it after February 2. Everyone else is subject to the nature of rolling applications. As I stated in an earlier post, they group the applications in random batches and go from there. My classmate submitted the application just before the Feb 2 deadline (same time as mine) and he got his acceptance last week.

Has anyone applying for the CNL program who interviewed last week (week of April 13th) heard back that applied AFTER the first deadline of February 2nd before it changed to rolling admissions???

Hi everyone, I had my interview yesterday. Overall it went pretty well, but I was so nervous and forgot to mention how UMD is my first choice school etc. etc. How long will it be before I have an acceptance or god forbid DENIAL???? Out of curiosity, what did some of you get your undergrad degrees in? Mine is in public health. Also, I am a new grad (spring 2015). Do you think they are looking for individuals with more experience or someone fresh out of school, still in an academic state of mind, who can be trained?

When i went to my interview yesterday 4/21, Ms. Jackson informed me that notices will be out in "a week or two". So I'd be expecting something by this time next week if I were you.

I GOT INNN!!!! I'm SOOO excited!! Just checked my application status and it says "Admit-Institution". Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back! I'll keep you all in my prayers! I interviewed last Monday (April 13th) and just saw the status change this evening. I was so worried because I actually submitted my application a week after the recommended deadline of February 2 but everything worked and I am over the moon happy!
