Hi there!
I'm applying to UMSON BSN Spring 2022. I create this thread, then we all can share or ask any questions.
Did you apply

Sorry to hear that ?? Did you apply to more than one school?

You have to have the nursing instructors to support that. There is also a shortage of them, and has been for quite some time- the pay is not competitive compared to clinical nursing.
You also need the clinical sites to support the number of students. There has always been high competition for clinical spots, and COVID has only made that tighter as well.
well guys, I didn't again found ? ? found out days ago. had to go on a hiatus to mourn. moving on, it is time for plan B. I guess the RN to BSN route does not sound that bad and I could get a facility to pay for my BSN. I applied two schools. one CC and UMSON. trying to look on the brighter side.
get in*
What do you guys believe are my chances of getting in for Fall 2022? I got a 80% on the TEAS but plan on retaking it. my GPA is a 3.5 as of right now. I have taken challenging classes like Chemistry 2, physics 1&2 & have gotten A in those. Never retook any science classes, & only got B 2x for a science class. But the problem is I have a weak recommendation letter & I have 0 medical experience, no volunteer work, & no shadowing... Please help!?

Honestly, we can’t say the chances of you getting in. Many of us thought we would get in, but we didn’t. I would say make sure your essay is strong, and apply before the deadline- I think they have a priority deadline so you find out earlier, and find another professor to do your LOR
