UMSON BSN Spring 2019

Published

Hello! I know apps aren't due until September, but there's no harm in starting early. If anyone has any questions/concerns, or even advice that they'd like to share, please feel free to contribute. Good luck to everyone! :-)

I was accepted to the Baltimore location, I submitted my app 8/27 and my last name starts with Z

Did anyone get a phone call or email yet?

I got in as a provisional admit to Shady Grove. I am finishing up A&P II this semester, but it's my third time updating the class (I'm old), so I would say the stressful part is over.

I'm sure I'll post a lot more questions and thoughts once I get the information from the admissions office. I'm so relieved! Congrats to everyone and best wishes to those who are still waiting.

Also, mark your calendars. The academic calendar lists Oct 22 - Nov 2 as "Advising for Spring 2019".

What are those advising dates for exactly? Do you go in person?

I think that advising is for current students, because we register at orientation for classes.

Hey guys, I'm new to allnurses but I checked my application today and it said provisional admit! I haven't gotten an email or anything I just happened to check my application status. Does anyone know when we'll be getting an official letter and/or email?

Hey so if we haven't heard back by now... does that mean we are probs getting rejected?

I know right smh mine still haven't change

Not at all, they release decisions in batches so you could hear back in a few weeks also. They do this so that the first round of accepted applicants have time to accept/deny their offer of admission so they know how many seats they can offer to other applicants! Don't be discouraged.

Thanks Kristen!! Positive thoughts are needed since I'm worrying

I think some statuses were just updated

Well congrats guys

I didn't get accepted:( but i did got into a Community college program
