So I know its early but who else is applying?

I applied for the conway scholarship! Do you know when we should be hearing back?

I'm not sure, but hopefully by the time the semester begins!

Also - do we take classes over the summer and graduate in Spring 2019, or do internships each summer and graduate in December 2019?? Can't believe I don't know this haha

Has anyone bought books yet? I see that the 310 and 314 textbooks are still pending on the online bookstore.

Yeah I bought whatever they have posted on Amazon. Anything that Professor Lerner (317) emailed and said we need for other semesters i bought, the rest (for the most part) I rented. Everything is literally a fraction of the price on Amazon. Also, I didnt buy the books for research cuz I have a friend in 2nd semester that says she never used them.

Does anyone know how we order our name tag? Not the student ID but the name tag that is required with the books.

Name tags can be ordered online through the bookstore or you can personally go in and place the order.

Also, has anyone heard anything about clinicals for new incoming students? The only email I have so far seems to be for 2nd semester students and onwards.

I didn't get an email from Prof. Lerner. What books did she say we will use for multiple semesters?

Hello my name is Ashley I have been following this site for a while I found out back in November I was waitlisted for Spring 2018 and recently was just pulled off I am freaking out because I have two weeks to get everything together Hahahah I hope to meet Some of you next week at the second orientation since I missed the first Ha ha ha does anyone on this forum have group H classes ??

Since I missed the step one orientation they didn't tell me how parking where does anyone here know how it works for the school ?? I am hoping to find someone that can commute with me or I can commute with them to make parking cheaper if it's expensive !

Congrats! U have choice of Lexington, Lexington roof or market center. Parking is 175 per semester for market, $5 per day for Lexington. Not sure about Lexington roof. They like 8-10 walk from school. https://www.umaryland.edu/parking/parking-at-umb/student

Hi, I am a fall hopeful and just wondering if everyone who got a call got in? My stats are not competitive with the rest, but I do have a ton of experience as a tech and currently work in the Peds ED at UMMC. I got a call in February but have been so terrified I wont get in because of my stats.... which are from 5-8 years ago. I also am a medic in the Army Guard, have ACLS, PALS, CPR certified and had phlebotomy certification, so I have a pretty well rounded Resume. I have everything possible to be a nurse without the label and am sooo scared I wont get in because of an old Science GPA... I had B in A&P 1, B in A&P 2 and MICRO which I took together but a C in chemistry... however I failed the first time ( my ENTIRE class failed, but I got an A in lab??) I took the TEAS (for the second time, first time was in 2011 and got 72%) and got a 78% this time with no school..... Somebody please tell me they had a similar story and got accepted.??
