Hey!

So I know its early but who else is applying?

Does anyone know what time orientation is? I know the dates are 11/28/ 11/30, 12/04, and one more (I can't remember that last date), but I have no clue what time it's at and that really affects which date I choose!

I have no idea. I assume it will last for most of the day so it will probably start sometime in the morning and end in the afternoon?

I just called the student success center to register for the first orientation and someone had finally answered and put me down for November 28th and said I should get a confirmation email as the date gets closer. She had thought everyone was able to register for it online and didn't have to call or email.

Has anyone still not gotten their letter?? I still don't have mine ugh

I ended up getting mine Tuesday afternoon and received my call on 10/31! I'm sure it'll be there soon... i wouldn't worry too much if you already got the phone call, you're in!

Just hope for for pulling off waitlist :(

Maybe there is hope for you and those waitlisted. I was accepted but have already had my deferral approved for fall 2018 since my husband is military and are still in WA state. We will be moving there in April. So good for me I'm still in just now for fall, and maybe good for you to get off waitlist?

Also can someone tell me if silver spring area is too far of a commute for shady grove campus. Thanks! That's where we are looking to live.

Does anyone know if a Facebook group will be made for our class like there has been previously? Also, is anyone bringing a parent to the first orientation? Mine is November 28th!

I live in Silver spring. No, it is not too far. It will take you 20-30 mins driving to Shady Grove. I keep my finger cross to get pulling off the waitlisted.

Does anyone know where you buy your uniform from?

You can either buy it from the school store at orientation or you can buy whatever you want from elsewhere as long as it's a white top and khaki pants! They sell the university of Maryland patches at the school store that you'll have to get though
