UMSON BSN Spring 2014

Hi everyone! I created the BSN Fall 2013 topic, but I couldn't apply at that time due to family issues. So now I'm applying for Spring 2014! Anyone else applying? :]

So maybe I am reading this wrong. But the "Certification must be completed within three months prior to the semester you are entering"[COLOR=#424242] about getting one's CPR card mean that we are supposed to get it withinthe three months before entering the semester? Which basically means we can get it in December if needed. Or am I just reading that wrong? Because my October schedule is packed.

Also, guess who just realized that she may have gave UMSON a transcript without my current classes on it. UGH... so scared, nervous, and anxious now. Hope nothing goes wrong, and they just ask me to send another one with my current classes on it....

Ccilia, if you get word on the CPR thing will you let us know. I have a CPR class scheduled for oct. 25th which would just cut it for the 3 month thing.

Ccilia when you submitted your prerequisite course form it listed any outstanding courses and when you expect to complete them. So they know you are/were planning on these classes because most (if not all) official transcripts only show completed/attempted courses. Hope this helps your nerves a bit :).

Ccilia, mamaterp has a good point. When I sent in my transcript I just attached a schedule of my outstanding classes.

In other news my application just changed to "Committee ready"!

Mine is still 'Complete Ready for Review'.

I just checked the status of my application, and now it is 'Committee Ready'. I completed my application a few days before the due date(sep. 15). I think they are working in order. So those of you who are still waiting the 'Committee Ready' status, pls don't be stressed like I was. :)

Thanks, mamaterp :) I did think of the prerequisite course list, just been getting really paranoid and anxious about things being exactly like they want, because I feel like they are judging me on every little thing. But that is just my paranoia...

And Chelsea13, I totally forgot to call them today about the CPR certification since my schedule was so packed today with class and work from 8am till 4:45pm on three hours of sleep. Totally forgot until around 5:30, but I will for sure try to remember to call them on Monday and let you all know :)

I need to stop being so anti-social! It's been nice to read about other people in the same boat; we can all relate in one way or another when it comes to the admissions process and minor hang ups. We all know first hand what we did in the last year or two getting up to this point; passing up a night out, Saturday's in the books etc.. Personally, I finished up General Chem this summer on 7/31, went right into prepping for the TEAS which I took on 8/9, and spent the weeks after that putting the packet together. It is fun though, very exciting. I hope we all get to meet on campus this Spring. Word is, Pickle's pub is a great place to get to know each other haha.
