All admissions offers are handled the same regardless of campus requested. I can tell you only that as long as your status is not "Rejected Application" you are still in the running. If you become "Wait Listed", take heart. The Shady Grove campus usually takes 10 to 15 Wait List students and, although I am not sure, Baltimore would take more than that. It will all depend on how many admissions offers are accepted which is something nobody can predict.

Cmg- so sorry to hear. I hope you keep at it and continue to grow in your education despite this minor setback! UMD was the only school I applied to this year and while I am ever hopeful I've also signed up for courses for spring to further my education should I have to reapply for fall. Remain tenacious when it comes to your dream!

I remember going to an open house a year or two ago when I was first considering UMSON as an option and I was so struck by the student speaker who became an active SGA member, was on a national student nursing board, and had a very successful career after school. He was rejected 2x! It was wonderful to get confirmation in the power of persistence!

I wish I could remember his name! He was just an inspiration to me. Regardless of what happens in this application cycle I know that this is what I want. Sometimes tests are placed in your path to strengthen your desire to pursue things, I know this wouldn't be the first one for me

I ended up applying to UMSON because of a previous setback. I'm sooo glad I did because UMSON offers the quality of education I was hoping for and didn't experience before.

One door may close and another may open. Sometimes it's just closed because it's taking that big fat blessing a few minutes to get to the door!
