Hello everyone! It's my first time posting on this website. Just wanted to see who else is applying for the BSN program for Fall 2013? Any advice for new applicants? :)

Hope everything works out for those who were waitlisted! Just a heads up, my friend was waitlisted last year and she said she found out a couple days before class in fall that she was admitted. good luck to everyone though!

i am not sure which lady to believe, yours or mine. But, I guess that time for admission deposit should have passed and there may be slots available by now. I am just guessing all of this. This is what i do all day now a days because i have nothing else to do.

i am glad we have this forum where we can share, learn and vent. Life would have been very difficult at this point without it.

Admitting wait listed students has started and is an ongoing process through July. That is because we have no way of knowing how many will decide not to accept their offer or when they will do that. As people drop out, offers are made to wait list people. It seems to me that we take more wait list folks in the summer. Last August at least 10 % of the class came from the wait list, maybe more.

Hello fellow entry level degree seekers! I'll be starting the CNL program in the fall and already live in Baltimore.

For those of you who are moving from out of town, there is a house in my neighborhood that will be coming on the market. My neighborhood is mostly either retired couples or young couples. Not a lot of "partying" or anything like that. Relatively quiet and safe. Near a hospital and 3 major bus lines as well.

It's a 3 BR 1 bathroom row-home that will be ~$1300-$1500 a month. If there are 3 of you, that's only $500 a month per person. Built in study buddies, car pool, etc. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I can give you the area it's in and the owner's phone number if you're really interested. It will be available starting around June 1.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! i got in. got a call this morning from admissions that they pulled me out of the wait list. Just checked my status. It has also been updated " admit- institution".

It happened to me when i completely lost hope and was considering other options.Wait listed applicants hang in there and be positive. i wish u all best of luck.

Hi, Husky 2011. Be optimistic ! I think you have great chance to get in. Remember Grey Lady said that Fall applicants usually have more chances. I wish you the best and want to see you in Baltimore!

Thanks very much. yes, i am relieved. Now, I can concentrate and prepare for school. I wish you tons of luck and hope and prey for your success. People get calls from UMSON even a few days before orientation. I am sure you have great chance.
