UMSON BSN Fall 2013

Hello everyone! It's my first time posting on this website. Just wanted to see who else is applying for the BSN program for Fall 2013? Any advice for new applicants? :)

I was accepted into UMSON traditional BSN and UCF BSN. My wife has family in Florida that can help out with child care while we both are in school so we decided to go there.

No news IS good news. As long as your status is not Rejected or Cancelled your application is still alive. We have always accepted students from the Wait List especially for fall. If we could predict, perfectly, the number of applicants who will not accept our admissions offer and when they will do so, we could tell you when you will be taken off the Wait List and made an offer.

Grey Lady, do you think we (waiting list people ) will be notified by the mid-May? Thanks so much!

asraf, we are in the same boat now, so sad that we have to keep waiting and it seems like a long process and takes forever:(

ql279, this process is "nerve wrecking" in the true sense of the word.i check mail email and online status million times a day and every time my telephone rings, my heart stats pounding. Everyday i make a resolution not to check my status but can not stick to it. I need a break from all the worrying . honestly!!!

i am praying and that is all i can do now. Wish all the best to the waiting game players.

i am thankful that we have this forum where we can vent.

just called the office of admissions and was told that wait listed applicants will start hearing any time from NOW to the orientation provided the space becomes available.

Hi asraf,

I applied to the fall 2013 program and have been waitlisted as well.

I'm curious as to how many spots will be available but like everyone has been saying the waiting is hard to endure at this point.

When I called last week the lady told me we would find out around July at the latest? But I didn't know we could be finding out now!

Looking at the previous posts it seems there a few people who have been waitlisted including yourself just on this forum alone! Best of luck and thanks for your posts!
