UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Summer 2013

I just called Enrollment Services. I wanted to see what was going on - they've had my application for Stratford for a few weeks. She told me they reviewed my application and that I would receive notification by next week. She wouldn't tell me whether I was accepted over the phone but when I pressed as to when next week to expect the letter did say she had to get the "packages" together to go out so the middle to end of next week. I'm hoping "packages" means acceptance. I would think a rejection letter could be sent out sooner. ugh - this waiting is horrible!!! Good luck to those of us still waiting to hear!

I applied to Stratford too and I am sooo anxious. I've been picking up extra shifts at work to keep me from thinking about it, hah. I really want to call but I don't know what to say. What exactly did you ask when you called? Was it if they had reviewed your application? Did you speak to *******? I'm thinking about calling on Friday. But, like you said, at least a rejection letter has not come.

Ok. I'll call now and ask for my status. That is a pretty decent amount of people they accept. I was actually being a stalker the other day and saw that Stratford's recently graduating class had 26ish people in the pinning ceremony picture and fb page. So either they had a lot of people drop out or they didn't have too many applicants lol. That kind of gives me hope lol

I called and I was told, "..Um, they're still making a decision about your application. Give it a few weeks ?"

She was very pleasant, as always, but that "pause and um" has me a little worried or maybe I am just reading too much into it.

Hey rosefromconcrete586, don't go crazy lol b/c it's just gonna add to the stress of the applications as it is. Believe me, Im going through the same craziness. Keep yourself busy, it's the best way to stay calm lol

I'm trying to keep myself as busy as possible by picking up extra shifts at work, mediation, and hobbies. Hopefully we are both lucky and get in, haha. But seriously, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one going crazy =)

This made me smile, because back in the fall I obsessed every single day and was constantly running to the mailbox, and don't you know the one day I didn't think about it at all was the day I received my acceptance package? hahaha try not to think about it so much!

Hey Everyone, I also received my acceptance to UMDNJ Stratford. I'm so excited, I don't know what to do. Looking forward to meeting all of my classmates. Congrats to you all!!!! And for those who haven't received any updates as of yet, keep your head up. I too was on pins and needles. We're all in this together. I'm rooting for you.
