UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Stratford Summer 2010?

Anyone heard back from either the Newark or Stratford campus regarding their application for Summer 2010?

I'm doing my best to get a decision from the admission people ASAP so I don't have to reserve a seat for Drexel or TJ for the fall, which is 500$. Anyone have any idea how long it takes for them to respond?

Urgh. I haven't gotten the packet with info on the TEAS yet. Where did you guys register for the test?

Shnerpi---Make sure you call Stratford as well and confirm your test date, that is where you will be taking the exam.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one lagging on requirements....just got the packet today and will be taking the test tomorrow (yikes)! Thanks for the help, and possibly see some of you tomorrow!

remember the TEAS is only to help identify students who may need further help in certain basic skill areas, it is only to help, not to hinder! UMDNJ offers test taking strategies, enrichment programs, scholary writing workshops, etc. Everyone has different learning strategies, so ATI will help us, help you :)

It consists of basic math, reading, science from what I hear its not that difficult. I bought the study guiide at ATI.

is it similar to the hesi?

Newark orientation isn't until the end of this month, just curious how everything went.

TEAS went well, it wasn't bad at all.

Our orientation for Stratford is this Tuesday and Wednesday, I'll let you know how it goes.

Anybody know what happens if you're still completing prereqs but won't be done till the end of May? The website says that the summer term begins May 3rd. How would this affect my acceptance or my schedule of classes?

Well, you'll either have to work out something with your professor to finish and get your final grade early (i.e. before UMDNJ starts May 3), or you'll have to defer admission. I'm also finishing a prereq, and the letter I got said they'll withdraw admission if a final grade isn't received before the start of classes.
