Marki'sMom, based on what the school customer service rep told you, I would think it all depends on how many applicants they've gotten and what kind of GPAs those applicants have. But you've met their requirements as far as GPA goes, and the deadline extension makes it seem like they still have spots open, so I would definitely be hopeful!

It took UMDNJ about a week and a half after NursingCAS completed my application to send me an e-mail confirmation, and then it was another month after that to get my acceptance letter. Also, some of the things I have to send to the school to reserve my spot have to be in by October 20th - I don't know if it will be the same scenario for those who applied later because of the deadline extension, but it might help give you an idea about when you'll be hearing from them at least.

AMiner - Has your GPA been computed yet? I certainly hope we'll be classmates too.

enilrek - I took the class at HCCC. The issue I'm having is that the transcript says "College Chemistry", however that is what HCCC considers "General Chemistry" and that is what is written on the syllabus. I called UMD and was told that they have to make a decision based on that and that I'll receive a response via mail soon. *fingers crossed*

Thank you guys!!

My application was completed with NCAS at the end of August. In mid September I received an email from UMD stating that I needed to submit my syllabus for chemistry, which I did the very next day. They emailed me again the following day stating they got the syllabus, it has been submitted for review and my application is pending. At the end of September, I received the acceptance letter.

So the whole process was about a month from when NCAS completed and submitted the application from UMD.

Congrats on everyone who got accepted!

I am just wondering what your GPA was for getting accepted? I am abit nervous about mine.

Also, did anyone get their bachelors at Thomas Edison?

Hi BSN to be! My undergrad GPA was 3.76 according to the NursingCAS calculations. I got my BA from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.

Thanks for the info nurse2013!

I'm still waiting to get an email of confirmation, driving me a bit krazy lol. I'm nervous that NursingCAS may have messed up my application. Oct 9th will make it one month since my last reference was received on NursingCAS... I guess I will give them a call then.
