UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Fall 2011

I was originally accepted into the Summer Accelerated BSN program but chose to defer my enrollment until Fall 2011. I would love to connect with people who will be attending the same program. Maybe we could connect via facebook or this site and create a support group.

Yes, the exam is Tuesday according to Debbie Pedretti, she said she would call/email us to confirm. Yes I joined, facebook(LOL), but have to see how to maneuver around, Be patient with me. I am so happy I "met" you guys prior to the start of the program.

Congrats everyone. I'm in Level 2 going into Level 3. Word of advice, if you haven't been told already, make sure you get your Mandatories completed before the first day of school. It just saves you time because first day will be overwhelming.

Yes all those paperwork that needs to be completed that pertains also to your clinical. Its about HIPPA, etc. It takes hours to complete and should complete it before your first day, so that's one thing you don't need to worry about.

How did you go about deferring your enrollment? I am accepted for this Fall; however, I am still wating to hear back from other schools and they start in January?

Hi guys,

I was just reading through all the posts and was just wondering if anyone would be able to give me a realistic opinion of whether or not I will get in..I submitted all my application materials on time but they keep telling me to submit course syllabi for my anatomy and physiology classes as my college offered them separately..Also I had submitted a transcript that did not say that my degree was conferred so I just re-submitted it 2 days ago as they just let me know 2 days ago that these things were missing even after I sent several emails to follow up on my status..from all your posts it seems like they have already sent out acceptance letters and if they are still just reviewing my application do you think I would get in? I went to Stony Brook University and graduated with a BS in Biology in May...also I saw some posts about the NALC course-is it a mandatory course for all accepted students? The person in admissions that I spoke to was really nice and just said that they were still reviewing applications..I am really nervous and scared and anxious because I really want to go here..I had to already put my deposit in at another school because I did not hear from UMDNJ but it is not an accelerated program and cost much more so I am planning to withdraw from there if I am accepted to UMDNJ...or do you guys think if I take some nursing courses in this other school if I can transfer them to UMDNJ if i reapply for spring 2012? ahh I'm sorry for such a long post but I have no one to talk this out to and I'm very anxious
