UMD CNL FALL 2018

Hi guys! I know it's a little early... but just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to the UMD CNL program for fall of 2018. I just submitted my application!

Thanks for your responses!!! How do you know who you're interviewing with ahead of time? I interview next Wednesday.

Just try to be yourself, They just want to know why you want to be a nurse. You won't know your interviewer ahead of time. it is random.

Hi There - no :( I still haven't heard anything. I called on Tuesday and they gave me a pretty generic answer (to be expected): They are still going through applications and decisions will be released on a rolling basis. Have you heard anything ?

No, I have not heard anything, since the interview date. I think they probably give the same answer to most people who called. I checked SURF like crazy everyday hahaha !! I can only hope to be accepted.

@SimSmo, still wrestling with the decision! Both programs are great, and I was so fortunate to be offered admission to both. I need to make up my mind this week, as the deposit is due to Maryland if I am going there.

Anyone else out there deciding between Hopkins and UMD? Would love to hear your thought processes.

Anyone heard anything? Still waiting over here - been 6 weeks since my interview and I am losing hope! Would love to hear about any others waiting

It has also been 6 weeks for me since my interview. Last week, I called and spoke with an admissions counselor. She first apologized for the long wait time for a decision. She then told me that we (those who haven't already recieved a decision) should expect to hear something during the first week of April. This gives me some hope, but I am still pretty nervous.

Ahh i see! That's great that she was able to put a more definitive answer around when we'd hear. I called last week and they were so vague I had no idea. Good luck and definitely keep us updated!
