UMB Spring 2010 Applicants (BSN or CNL)

After following the Fall '09 thread with great interest, I thought it might be time to start a new thread for the Spring '10 applicants since we're inching closer to the Sep 1 deadline. I have a technical question for those who have applied before. I submitted my CNL application online this morning and paid the $50 and now it seems like my application has slipped into a vortex that I don't have access to. When I log onto SURFS to check my status, the only option that it gives me is to submit a new application. Is there somewhere else on the website that I should be looking to confirm that my application has been submitted and is pending review or awaiting additional information (transcripts, recommendations, etc)? Perhaps there is a delay between when the application is submitted and when the status is visible?

Best of luck to all the other applicants...now the agonizing waiting game begins! Looking forward to giving each other support and encouragement on this thread.

i applied on the 19th of this month...nd i cant stop checking the online thingy...i am so scared!!! worst part is..thats the only school i applied too...i need somebody to calm my nerves...btw..i applied to the BSN

Just keep up the positive thinking! I was worried about my GPA (3.2) but I try to remember that they take everything into account and my NET and all the rest were good. Good luck! Does anyone here know whether they want to go to Baltimore or Shady Grove? I live closer to Shady Grove but I love Baltimore so hopefully thats where ill be heading.

One of the reasons I would LOVVVVEE to get into UMD's program is because they have the shady grove campus that is sooo much closer to me than Baltimore. If I get in I'll be attending the Shady Grove campus; well thats the campus that I chose on the application hopefully it won't get full too quickly.

oh..i'ld love to attend the baltimore campus...not that i have a place to stay yet...looking for roomies...like

a young aspiring female who loves to have fun and STAY FOCUSED. when do you guyz think they wld make a decision??? I AM SO ANXIOUS!

There is an Open House for BSN and CNl on Oct 3 from 9:30 until 1. I hope to see some of you there. Good luck and relax!! :)

Has anyone else's decision status changed to "Committee Ready"? Mine changed to that yesterday. ACK! I can't stand the suspense. It is going to be a loooonnggg couple of weeks!

Blondell!!!...i am so scared!..mine still says "Complete Ready for Review"...they better be ready to review my application!...when did you apply?...may be they review in the order they get them... I HOPE SO! :confused:

Yes, it is for people with a bachelor's degree in something other than nursing. You are fine. They will review all applications received by the 9/1 deadline.
