  1. I got my acceptance letter today, so now I can share :) I am actually going to PA school! I was accepted at AACC for the class of 2012. I decided a few months ago that PA was more appealing to me so I went for it! I'm so excited!! Good luck to everyone!!!!
  2. For fear of jinxing myself, I won't answer yet, but hopefully I can share that by the end of this week!
  3. Got the call this afternoon! I'm in CNL. I'm likely not going to be attending, but I'm glad to have my answer. Good luck to everyone!!
  4. My other options are looking very, very good right about now
  5. :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire
  6. I just got back from a de-stressing run myself. It really does help! I think at this point we are going to have to hope something comes in the mail this week.
  7. I am a CNL applicant and I did not get a call either. If it went in alphabetical order, I would have been called by now Also if it went in order of application date, I think I would have received a call today too. So, either those theories are both wrong, or I am not in My status still says "Committee Ready" too.
  8. Aren't students already registering for classes?
  9. Hi southernliving, where are you in Clarksville? I am in River Hill. That would be great if we got in and could start a study group, and possibly carpool too! I have something else in the works at the moment and I'm hoping that is going to work out, and at this point I'm glad because UM has turned me off with this application process! But if I end up at UM, I'll be in touch! Good luck! :)
  10. LOL!! That put a smile on my face. Yes, we thirty-somethings are just about dead, huh? I sense quite a bit of anger JumpforJune. Clearly you don't think that someone would go to nursing school just to add some excitement to their otherwise boring life. Nursing school is not something to be taken lightly, and it is an honor and something that must be earned through very hard work and dedication. If I am bored, I will take up a much easier hobby. Anyway, good luck to you in your career and when you are our age, you will look back and realize how immature everything you said was. Good luck to all in this waiting game!
  11. Will do. Thanks for the advice. I will just wait until that day, and if necessary I will drive my deposit over to them and take my chances! Good luck everyone and have a great weekend!
  12. Thank you, Grey Lady. I am really hoping to hear prior to Nov. 1st since I have to give a deposit to another program by 10/30! UM is my first choice, so I am holding out as long as possible. Would it help at all for me to contact someone to find out if a decision on my application could be made prior to that date? Of course, I don't want to irritate anyone!! :) Thanks!
  13. It was in statistics. She's retaking it right now. I think they require a B in every prerequisite. Good luck!
  14. A friend of mine was accepted for fall 2009 but got a C in one of her classes and they told her she had to repeat it and get a B or she would lose her spot. She decided instead of taking it over the summer, to take it in the fall and deferred for spring 2010.
  15. My undergrad (dietetics) from UMCP was 3.3 and my prereq gpa was 4.0. My application was in as of July and went to "Committee Ready" some time in early Sept. Good luck to all! This wait has been LOOOONGGG!!!:anbd:
