Anybody applying to the DNP program GEP at UMASS, Worcester, hoping to start next year 2021??

Does anyone know how many years in total this program is. For the ACNP track, if there's a difference. Ik the website shows 3 years, but in the interview, they said 4. So a bit confused.

It is 4 years in total to get the DNP. At the end of year 3, you will be eligible to sit and take your board exam for your NP and try to find a job while you wrap up your DNP project. :)

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in applying for the 2022 cohort. For those that were accepted, would you be able to list some of the details about your application, including personal statement, GPA, science GPA, background and letters of recommendation? Also, was this your first year applying or were you a wait list from the previous year? I'm trying to get a sense of what they're looking for.

 

For those that were wait listed, what were the same attributes of your application such as GPA, science GPA, statement, letters, etc.? I'm trying to get a sense of what they're looking for in all aspects. Also, once you were told you were wait listed, did they give you a number or at least tell you how many people were also on the wait list for the following year?

Has anyone gotten a physical letter from the school? Trying to figure things out like tuition and start date. Along with things I might need before starting.

Just curious if anyone knows when Umass sends out the last of their acceptances? I literally haven’t heard anything since I’ve applied and am getting anxious!

Hello! I interviewed on a Thursday and heard back the following Friday, so just about a week!

I haven't received any physical letters from the school, just emails. When the financial aid office emails you with your award, you should see the full tuition/bill. We received one email with next year's academic calendar about a month ago that stated orientation will be 8/11 and classes start 8/23. Hope that helps!
