UMASS Boston 2012 traditional BSN

Has anyone else applied for this program? I'm seeing that some are in the accelerated program, but little mention of the traditional. It be nice to know others that are in this with me :D

Btw, I am in the nursing pool, hooray for making the first cut!

No problem!! I wish I could give you more advice but the only thing I can say to you is for you to look into Roxbury CC before the deadline passes. I was also rejected from UMass Boston (not once, but twice). As of right now I'm waiting to hear from my backup choice and I'm still debating on whether or not I want to try to apply to RCC as well. Only time will tell what the future holds for us all :-/

Did you get a reply regarding the application fee? I emailed them last week for the same reason, as I applied as a inter college transfer and still haven't heard a single thing. Also, no reply to my email!

When I submitted all of my paperwork it was as a transfer student and with a money order. They never want to reply to anyone. If I were you I would try to contact the Business/Bursar office and then talk to Admissions. I know the money doesn't stay with them so you'd probably have to try to track down the money with the actual office who processed it (besides Admissions).

i applied all the way in October. I still have not heard from them. I made to qualified pool. I am above the requirements as a freshman. I went there personally the head nurse coordinator told me they are still looking at students. they are still sending out decision letters. she told me, that app has no decision yet. She said it mailed in late march, hopefully. I will still contact them.

How's everyone apllication to Umass Boston traditional nurse going? I have just started the prerequsites at community college. I want to know how hard is it to get accepted. Does anyone feel free to share your condition? How's your GPA, how's your recommendation letter? Is there anything I can do to make my application 'special'?
