I have applied for the Fall 2011, though I have not gotten a letter yet. I check my online status pretty much everyday, but nothing yet. AHhhh I hate waiting. I'm assuming you haven't heard yet?? :/

hey .... no i haven't heard anything.... do u check using that pin number they gave u with the link on the admissions page? ... i thought they would have told us by now but i haven't heard of anyone getting anything yet.. it can't be much longer......please let me know if you hear anything. Did you apply as a change of major or transfer student? :)

yeah, my status still says its being reviewed and i should hear by march 15th.....so any day now! I will definitely let you know when I hear :) I'm applying as a transfer student; however, this is my second degree. If i don't get in to the traditional program i will apply for the accelerated. What about you?

Just checked my status online. It says i should be receiving a letter in 14 days....

I heard back from umass on Tuesday for an interview. They said they were calling students for interviews then they would release letters. There's another thread where some more people have also received interviews. Goodluck to everyone!

Yes, once a silent "lurking" I am also waiting with all of you too. Its difficult to wait and to think of what may happen. I checked my statusonline and it says I am selected into "the pool of applicants" and thats all I know. To all of you who got accepted did you get this message too? and get the letter inthe mail, saying you were selected into the "pool of nursing applicants?" Like many here, I've worked very hard. just turned 40 and this is finally my chance to pursue Nursing. Its out of my hands now, I just pray I get in. I am so happy to all those who made it in, and I am supportive of those who are waiting like I am. May all you Nurse "Hopefuls" make it!

I know its not easy waiting for something u've worked so hard for. I use to check my status everyday before I got my letter. My status did say I was in the pool of applicants at first, but then it changed & said a decision was made. Then I got my letter two or three days after. I really hope u guys get it & thanks for the congrats guys. Let me kno if u have anymore questions

Major Nursing BS Admissions Decision We have done an initial review of your nursing application. If you have applied for the traditional nursing program, you have qualified to be placed in the nursing pool. Spring 2011 candidates will be mailed a decision letter the first week in December. Fall 2011 candidates will receive a decision letter by March 15. If you have applied for the accelerated nursing program the next step is an interview. A staff member will contact you shortly to schedule an interview.
