UMass Boston BSN Fall 2016

Applications are due December 1st, who else is applying for the traditional BSN program? :nurse:

UMB is the only program I applied to... Of course I'm regretting that now!

Is is everyone applying from MA or out-of-state?

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone. Hopefully we will all be meeting soon. =D

Umb is also my first choice, depending on their decision, I might apply to Northeastern university, and Laboure college. I'm checking my mail box like crazy. And Rostar622, I'm applying from MA.

Ofure97 I also applied to Northeastern but have yet to hear back from them. I applied early so that could the the reason I haven't recieved any type of news.

I'm also from MA, currently at Massasoit wrapping up pre-reqs actually. After talking to a bunch of people I've met, it seems that going through a 2 year program really isn't the best option- especially in terms of job opportunities after graduation. I'm still keeping my paperwork handy for Massasoit in case I don't get into UMB, but my fingers are definitely crossed!! Here's hoping tomorrow brings good news!

Just checked the mail today and no letter! I guess I'll have to wait until next week. The stress is killing me! Has anyone received their letter yet?

I checked too but no letter. I'm just trying to calm my head. I really wish they made provision for us to check online. I'm not liking this letter business one bit.

I checked the mail before I came to work and nothing!! This is the worst!!!!! I might be in an insane asylum by Tuesday!

Yellowalfa there is nothing wrong with a 2 year program. You can still go for BSN after and a lot are online. You have many choices and some can end up less costing than the traditional BSN from the beginning. I'd apply to everything you are interested in. When I graduate next May I am looking into both UMB and Curry along with a few other online programs. Wishing you all the best

No not yet but today is a holiday so the is no postal service! Hopefully tomorrow is the day! I am going crazy in doubt/excitement.
