Hi all,
I saw a topic for people that applied last year, but wanted to start a new one for everyone applying this year. Still a long time until the application deadline, but I have some questions I hope others might be able to answer:
1. Has anyone that's applied before sent extra rec letters? I think they said something about this during my info session, but I can't remember. I don't want to just make them think I wasn't paying attention to the requirements.
2. Does anyone know the translation service they said to use for non-English transcripts?
Thanks! All the info sessions are filled up, or I'd just go to another one!
Good luck to everyone applying
I have also been trying to find out this information! I called the bursar's office and the person that I spoke with was not familiar with a special program cost for the Accelerated Nursing program. I emailed someone from the nursing program to ask if we would just calculate the cost by multiplying the credits/semester by cost/credit, then adding all the fees listed on the bursar's website, but I haven't heard anything back.
At the info session, they gave an approximate total program cost of $28-30K, but more specific information must be available somewhere so that enrolled students are able to plan their finances.
I don't know how else to seek out this information. Maybe someone who has attended the program in the past will see this and chime in.
Hi all,
Not sure if this thread gets looked at anymore, but I was curious if any of you that were accepted and are now well into the accelerated Umass Boston program could share at which hospitals you've done your clinicials? That goes for any UMass Boston accelerated graduates as well... I read in a post elsewhere that the clinicals weren't the best (despite their advertising of clinicals at Boston's top hospitals), and that's going to largely influence my decision to attend..
Thanks for any insight you might have!
With thanks,

does anyone have any idea of the cost of the program? when i went to the info session, they refused to tell us the total cost of the program. i called again, and they wouldn't even give me a ballpark--they said it depends on the classes you take (day/night, online/in person, etc). anyone have any intel?
