Anyone applying to the 2010 UMASS Boston Accelerated BSN program?

I also have an interview this coming Friday at UMass. :yeah:I heard they received well over 300 applicants, are interviewing 50, and will accept 30. I'm a little nervous. I haven't been to an info session as I was completing my pre-reqs at the time. I hope I like the school. It's my first choice for financial reasons. I'm wait listed for MGH and I also applied to Simmons and Mass School of Pharmacy. If anyone has any pointers for the interview...please share.

I got your pm owenc. Sorry I can't pm back b/c I have yet to post 19 posts. So that being said, I still have not heard back anything. From what the program coordinator emails said, I think we are going to be notified via email. Since they want to save the environment, probably mostly money, they are sending the notifications via email.

If they are sticking to their schedule, which as of yet they have been, then we probably won't be notified until next week. I'm not expecting an acceptance, because I thought my interview went poorly. But it's all quite irrelevant to me. I was already accepted into Drexel's Fall 2010 class. I'm waiting on NJCU's Fast Track program and SCSU's ACE program. Getting accepted into Boston would be nice, but it's one of the most expensive schools I applied to. So even if I got in, I don't know that I would commit.

So I couldn't take it any longer and called. They said the admissions decision (online) will say the same thing whether or not you were accepted. I was thinking if you were accepted it would say so and if not it would say you should be receiving a letter. What a relief! I'm not giving up hope yet.

Did they say WHEN the e-mails would come by any chance? It's so cute that you called :)

No they didn't say....I should have asked. I'll keep you posted w/my status.
