Ultrascope Neonatal?

Hi all - I'll be starting a NICU position soon and I was wondering if anyone has input on the Ultrascope neonatal stethoscope? How does it compare to the Littman Classic II Infant stethoscope? I have an adult Littman Classic II and love it, but the infant model only comes in 6 colors and I feel like a lot of people will have the same color and it would be easy for someone to walk off with mine...

First, find out if your unit has individual scope for each baby. Some places don't let you use your own for infection control reasons.

For many years, I used an inexpensive "adscope". It worked fine. ADC Adscope 605 Infant Stethoscope Then I got a Littman. Also great. Probably the Littman was a little better.

Make sure your name is on it. Mine had an allergy band w/a tag saying, "If you steal this stethoscope, your loins will go numb". That worked, esp w/male residents. ;)
